Liechtenstein & Grisons

February 8, 2020 - February 14, 2020
  • « Bavarian Day Tours
  • Greece Crete »

What do Uzbekistan and Liechtenstein have in common?  If you look at a map of the world you will see that they are both doubly landlocked; the only two in existence.  We have skied in one so we should ski in the other.

Europe’s fourth smallest country, the Principality of Liechtenstein has an area of about 160 square kilometres and one ski resort, Malbun.  There are also a handful of enjoyable ski touring objectives of which we shall choose two before moving the short distance to the Pass dal Güglia region of the Grisons, Switzerland.  The mountains here are a paradise for ski tourers.

This trip is for those who enjoy a ‘sensible’ day’s touring at a relaxed but consistent pace.
