Continental Europe’s most southerly ski touring destination is a gem. This is a return trip, day touring from simple but comfortable and welcoming hotels at the foot of the mountains with one night spent in a hut.
Mulhacen at 3482m is the highest mountain in continental Spain and we plan to ski it twice along with two of the other highest peaks, Veleta 3398m and Alcazaba 3350m. The cultural highlight of the trip will be the day we spend in Granada.
